Here's my free mug tree. It is cute, I am not in LOVE with it or anything, but fine for now. Just thought you might want to see it. Do you like color mixed in or just plain black mugs? I've got to say that I would go with the black only for a more uniform look. But the colorful ones are okay.
I do think it would be cute to display Christmas ornaments. It could also be handy when you are wrapping lots of packages at the holidays - put ribbon spools and tape on the little handles. Hang a pair of scissors off of one arm. The tree may have hope yet.
Here's the start of a little beverage station. Handy location and since it has been so hot lately we have been drinking more tea, coffee (iced) and other beverages more than ever. I think we drink more than we eat lately. I call it the 100 degree Diet! It works. My hubby and I have each lost 3 or 4 lbs. since the heat wave started!

ReplyDeletethe little drawers came from IKEA (my personal mecca :) and the labels came from In My Own Style blog. She sent me the graphics link and I printed on some sample paper I got via a freebie post. I printed them, laminated, and then wrote with dry erase so they can be updated or changed. Canisters are from Hob Lob.
ReplyDeleteBinoculars are for bird watching out the back windows. Right now it is too hot for birds and we are keeping the curtains shut to block the SUN ;(
